I highly doubt that.

Mostly being because of the massive online population still dedicated to the PS2 servers. (Final Fantasy 11 for instance)

Not to mention the PS2 is still more popular in the homeland of Sony, Japan.

I think you can rest easy, the servers will be up for quite some time to come.

No they cant, they would loose SOOOOOOOOO many customers who still buy PS2 games.
