Does anyone know if and when the Playstation 3 Slim will be released? If it is, will the cost of the original go down?

Yes I heard it was true. There are speculations that once the slim PS3 comes out Sony will automatically try to sell the older PS3 models down to 299.99 to match with the Xbox 360 Elite price. Also Xbox 360 will get rid of there Xbox Professional bundle and sell the Xbox 360 Elite for 299.99 instead of 399.99

well is just a rumor but it will eventually come out just like the ps2 slim but who really knows when

if it does come out, it'll be a cripled version with lots of missing features. i agree with the other guy, PS3 FAT FTW
