Is the PS3 price drop rumor true?

I've heard so many things and i have no clue what to believe.

Any links you guys can put up saying if it's true or not?

I read on Yahoo they are going to lower the PS2 one to 100, but I think Sony said they didn't have plans on dropping the PS3 one.

I know they lowered the ps2 price ot sure about the ps3
