it wouldn't hurt you if you return it now whether the rumor is true or not. you can always buy again any time.

Just keep your PS3. If the price drops, then go to the store, show them your receipt and they will give you a gift card or something in the difference of the price drop.

yeah its true, but its only true that its a rumour. whether or not it will happen hasnt been confirmed. it wont happen on the 22nd, thats for sure. the realiest it will happen is sometime in april and the lastest is early summer. it has to drop to stay competative, but it hasnt been announced yet, so it wont be thattt soon. most places that sell electronics will give you the difference if tyou bring your receipt in. if you bought your ps3 2 days ago, and it goes down in price tomorrow, you bring in your receipt and they give you 100 bucks (or whatever the price drop was). not all places do this, and they only do this if you JUST bought your ps3 and the price dropped, so dont get too excited. keep your ps3

you might aswell get a refund now and see what happens, if not you can always buy it again

Well If I were you, I would go back to the store you bought it from and get a refund.
Then try waiting a couple of days to see if the PS3 does drop price.
(Remember this price drop is just a rumor so far)
If it does drop price then good for you.
