playstation's price drop real or rumor?

im looking to get one and planning on spending the amount of 4 hundred dollars----- crazy price tag i know, until i heard about this. is it true or is it a rumor because i dont mind waiting if the ps3 is going to be cheaper to buy

Sometime in april. The ps3 will drop to $300. I'm not sure of date but I'm sure it will happen.
