guys does ps3 really freezes while your playing?

ok everyone this is gona be my last new thread post asking for advice about the ps3 cause later at around 1-2 pm im going to the stores and get one myself but i'm really am scared to get a defective one cause i just saw youtubes videos about the freezing and blue ray disk drive not working. please, to everyone who has it please help me out need one last advice from you guys before i head the store later >.< thank you and good day ^^
