Is PS4 rumor true, and what happened to the PS3?

Is there really a PlayStation 4 coming out, around 2010? Also what happened to the original design for the PS3?

The original design was a greish color and it had a weird looking control, kinda like a boomerang.

No, Sony hasn't said ANYTHING about a PS4 is 2010, and the PS3 is supposed to have a 10 year life span. Know how many years it's been? 2.

Like always as soon as one system came out they start working on another system. However Sony already said that the PS3 will be a 10+ year system. Microsoft and Nintendo however are planning on releasing a new system in 2010 to get their hardware up to date. (making wii HD and xbox was going to increase the power of their system.)

People didn't like the prototype of the PS3(I know I didn't) so they redesigned it.

I bet their will not be another Play Station for a while. Before the PS3 came out, I had heard rumors about it like 5 years before it even came out.

right now is the time of the PS3, I don't know why people are so worried about the PS4 already, live in the now and enjoy the PS3. The original design was the same only they said there would be 3 colours white, black and silver and the controller was shaped like a boomerang which in my opinion looked stupid and I'm glad it is the same as the PS2
