i heard from my freind (who has a ps3) and i think its either 40 or 60gb and he says it cnat play ps2 games. i heard a rumor that any ps3 with 60gb+ can play ps2 and ps1 games

so is it true? can a ps3 play ps2 games?

so if i guy buy a ps3 today right now and its either 20gb 60gb or 80gb it wont play ps2 games?

i know for a fact that a 60gb CAN play ps2 games
im pretty sure that any ps3's under 80gp CAN play ps2 games
anything above that CANT

40gb cant play ps2 games. 20gb and 60gb can. 20gb doesnt have wireless. If you go online and buy a 20gb or 60gb it WILL play them. The 80gb has 2 different models, 1 with backwards compatibility and the other without.

Only the old 20GB, 60GB, and old 80GB can play PS2 games.
