Default PS3 speculation (don't know what to do)?

Hi i'm from the UK.

After my 360 died I was thinking on buying a ps3, but the only option is the entry level 40gb version for £299 (sed 2 myself nice deal)

I found out that this was the same price as the US 80gb model (WAAT?!) tax, transportation cost does not reveal why it is a few $100's more than the US 40gb ps3. My mate told me to wait cuz they might release another version of the ps3 with the 40gb ps3 to give sony eu/uk customers choice - (My mates gotta 40gb version cuz it was the only option "regret")

Theres a ridiculous amount of speculation on sonys plans e.g. worldwide release of 80gb bundle with MSG4, release on 120gb - 160gb ps3? You know what I mean. I loved it when the ps2 came out because it was 1 straight forward purchase.

Why is europe put last? we are the 2nd biggest consumers to buy the ps3 but get a low end option + deal (can you feel my pain)

Does anyone know if sony will equal out the option on ps3 versions worldwide and when?

Wanna buy ps3 soon
Don't tell me to import 1 cuz the ps2 games are region locked

Yes there is an 80gh version with Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle pack coming out around June 12th..from what i've read..and it's only suppose to be 500.00 which is quite the deal if you ask me.... plus the ps3 will be silver not black....it's a limited edition offer so basically a first come first serve... i found the information on ps3fanboy.com if you want to check it out.
