PS3 Fans. Is Resistance 3 a good game? I'm thinking of buying it. Should I?

Well I haven't actually got the game and I haven't played the story, but I recently played the Multiplayer Beta and, to be honest, I didn't like it at all. The movement was very slow and dragging compared to other FPS's and it just wasn't as captivating as any of my other games. I can't really comment on the story side of the game but if you're looking for good online play I wouldn't recommend getting it.

Erm... I think today is the release date, it is over here anyway. Resistance 1 was good, 2 was disappointing. So if we go by the precedent of Halo, every game will be worse than the last but more people will buy it.

The reviews I've seen range from positive to very positive

The online is awesome, far better than number two. It's worth buying it just for that, but the story is better than the previous game as well. The only problem is that you have to pay an extra ten pounds when you buy it second hand to play the online features, its a new thing sony has started doing with online games.
Defo worth buying though.
