home screen or turn on my PS3)? I have a Motorola AT&T Modem with a Linksys router connected to it. I am connected wirelessly to my router, and tried to plug in the modem straight to the PS3, which did not solve my problem. I am almost certain the router resets every time I quit or turn on my PS3, which resets my internet for around 1-10 seconds which disconnects my laptop and PS3 from the internet temporarily.
The main problem I have with this is when I have to update a game, which when u have to update you must first go into the game, the update prompts, and then takes you back to the home page after which is where my problem comes in. The update then times out because the time just goes up and up, and to percentage doesn't change from 0. This is the real problem, but sometimes the internet starts back up quick enough for the update to work, but randomly.
