Default PS3 question. (First answer will probably get best answer, unless there is

another with better info.)? I recently got my PS3 repaired for the yellow light of death. now im cautious, My fan comes on every hour or hour and a half. There is 7 inches of room from the back of the ps3 to the wall and a little at the sides. Is it going to get it again if i dont turn it off when the fan is on? how long do you play for until your fan comes on. First answer will probably get best answer.

My fan sometimes goes full speed right away, if I'm in a hot room.

it's not dangerous to play once your fan comes on, you just have to give it breaks.

Buy a cooling system for it.

And I'm not sure what's up with all these new PS3s breaking. Mine's one of the first-release ones with backwards compatibility, and the only problem I had was something that happened on the production line, so they sent me a brand new one.

I guess the price has come down, so little kids are getting them and not taking care of them. Either way, just don't let it overheat and don't do anything obvious like turn it off during a save or kick it.
