Default can i connect a Ethernet cable to my netgear wireless router port and then

connect it to my ps3 for online? like for example i am using wireless g network from netgear and i am talking about the 4 ports on the back. can i just hook on a Ethernet cable then to my ps3 . i am currently using rode runner(the time warner cable thing). my internet connection is fine i need help ive never got a answer please help!!

Yes you can... they put out internet just like a regular port from the back of the router. I had my Xbox hooked up like that for years... worked great and great connection speed hope this helped!
