help NHL 08 PS3?

hey i have a question on my ps3 i cant figure out how to adjust the rating attributes on the players and keep the changes any one know how thanks

ps. i dont put the ratings all the way up for every guy i do it by how good i think they are and some players attributes dont fit there talent thanks
