What cable do I need to play my ps3 on my lcd pc monitor?
Also if the monitor isn't HD what would a HDMI cable do?

If you have HDMI connection on the monitor, you can use HDMI. If it's DVI then you need DVI-HDMI cable, however, some older monitor will not work with the conversion...it's luck here.

As long as the LCD panel is newer and HDCP compliant, then you should have no problems using a hdmi-dvi converter.
