grand theft auto iv froozen ps3?

i jsut finished a mission and while loading the game froze on the loading screen i haven't saved in awhile so any sugesstions would help

i haven't used any cheat codes(whatever that has to do with it)

You shouldn't have used cheatcodes.

It may be your firmware, the hard drive of your PS3 or the game itself. You may want to call Sony if the problem consists on other games as well.

Well you are f#@ked you will have to start over try auto save next time to avoid this

do any other games freeze? if no other games freeze its the game. ADVICE:don't use cheats, its a bit risky to use them but i doubt that's the reason.(i do notice you said you dnt use cheats but anyway)2.start a new game3.if it still freezes get someone from a game store to rake a look at disc.4.delete the install and install it again.installs are in game data utility section of the ps3 main screen. and it wont delete your game saves you will just have to re install it again.
