You can't share map downloads. The downloaded content is stored to the specific PSN ID. The moment you log out of his account, the maps will go with it. Sorry to say, but Sony is smarter than letting one person buy a DLC and have everyone share it.

Go under the playstation network tab the click account managment and go to transaction managment and theres the list of downloads.
