Default My PS3 changed 'Dark Souls' resolution to 1280 720.. from 1920 1080?

So recently I was playing Dark Souls, and I quickly came off to change some settings as the colour looked a little weird, and when I came back onto the game it played in 1280x720... I've tried everything I can think of but I cant find what I clicked... Its really uncomfortable playing in 1280x720 on this TV it looks incredibly weird. I hope someone can help >,<!

On display settings it says it will play in 1080p, and if I turn off 720p it will play in 576p... I've gone into 'Video Output Settings' and redone it all again.. but the game wont play in 1080p still.

many games actually play in 720p , not 1080p and have only some parts in full 1080p so that might be why it is playing in 720p ?
although a game says it SUPPORTS 1080p it does not mean it is played in 1080p at all times , only that it can play on a 1080p hdtv

to reset your prs's hdmi and resolution settings is really easy if you read the menu names , go to display settings and redo the settings
the ps3 will then ask you to put in the max resolution the tv supoorts and yu choose 1080p , that is all you have to do

if you changed an in game setting then read the manula or prees atart to access the manu options to see if there are diaplay settings you can change
