Does the PS3 Slim still over heat?

I am tired of sending my fat PS3 in for repairs, because it just keeps overheating, and getting the YLOD so what I want to know is if the slim version is the same, or are the chances of it overheating and getting YLOD smaller ( or do they just not get YLOD anymore)

If you play constantly for 6 or 8 hours it can overheat.But it has lower chances of ylod compared to fat.this 'technology evo' is such a stupid mental person.My friend has xbox360 slim and in last five months that xbox 360 slim got rrod 2 times..........
