Should I get Battlefield 3 for Xbox or PS3? Why?

I am looking for the console that will provide me the best BF3 multiplayer experience, (PS3 or Xbox). I have a Gold Membership, so PS3 free online factor does not matter, same for graphics and controllers; I only care about the multiplayer experience. Please, try not to include comparisons between BF3 and MW3 nor PC comments (I do not own one). Remember to also include a reason, or opinion for the second question. Thank you in advance.

As far as I know, they are identical. People generally like Xbox for online because of the extra features that you pay for, but since we are only talking about one game (And not the consoles as a whole), I don't think it matters.

EDIT - Actually, now that I think about it, PS3 may be the better option here. The XBox version of the game is going to be shipping on two discs, where as the PS3 version is on one. If you are like me, and switch between single player and multiplayer often, this may be an annoyance on the XBox (Though a minor annoyance)

As someone who never plays shooters, never plays online, and only has a PS3, I suggest: X360. The point about PS3 being free might be a factor after all: from what I hear, the most annoying thing about these multiplayer games is when they're stormed by rude and cheating and annoying kids. I would suppose that on a network where you pay a monthly fee, you would have a little less people playing just to annoy the heck out of other people than on a free one.

You'd obviously would get a better online experience on Xbox and I even said that as a PlayStation fanboy

Get it for XBOX if you already have a gold membership. Plus, it also depends on who you play with. I personally play PS3 because a lot of my friends play along with me and I don't want to pay for the online experience. And the money I save would go into buying the DLC.

But, if you have more friends that play XBOX and don't mind spending the extra couple bucks, by all means, get it for your XBOX.

i think u should get it for the 360 the controller feels better for shooting games
