This will ONLY work if you comply with the following requirements:

You have connected your Wii to the internet for the first time no longer than 30 days ago OR
You have activated the shop channel no longer than 30 days ago OR
You have not activated it at all since you purchased your Wii.

1. First you have to set your wireless connection up in order to connect your Wii to the Internet. If you have done this already skip to Step 2 below.
* On the Wii menu, select the Wii button on the bottom left of the screen.
* Now select "Wii Settings".
* In the Wii System Settings, click on the blue arrow on the right to reach the second screen of options. On this screen, select the "Internet" button.
* Select "Connection Settings".
* Select one of the connections, eg. "Connection 1 - None".
* Select "Wireless Connection".
* Make sure your wireless router is on and select "Search for an Access Point".
* Pick your wireless connection from the list and you may have to enter the password for your wireless connection (sometimes called a WEP key). TIP: You can usually find the default password at the back /bottom of your wireless router.
* If you managed to connect OK, you will be asked if you want to save the settings, select "OK".
* Select "OK" again to start a connection test.

2. Find out your Wii number: If you do know this already skip to Step 3 below.
* Go back to the "Wii Main Menu".
* In the bottom right corner select the Message board icon, which looks like an envelope.
* On the next screen there are 2 icons in the bottom left hand corner. Select "Create Message"
* Next there will be 3 icons. Select "Address book" on the right and the page that opens up will show you your Wii number near the bottom of the page. Write that 16-digit number down.

3. Now it is time to claim those FREE 500 Wii points:
* Go back to the "Wii Main Menu", access the "Wii Shop Channel" and select "Start".
* Once the "Wii Shop Channel" has loaded select the icon in the bottom left hand corner called "Connection Ambassador Promotion". Now 2 options will appear, then select "THE PERSON WHO WAS HELPED".
* You will be asked to enter my Wii number. Please enter

* If it does not work it is because we are supposed to be in the same country, therefore either you will have to change your country to temporarily Australia or email yours via ebay to me so I can change my country temporarily to yours.
* Next you will be asked to answer a few questions, one of them is my age (17)
3. Finally you must email me your Wii number, as obtained in Step 2, so I can do the same thing in my side and only then we both will be awarded with 500 Wii points each that we can use in the "Wii Shop Channel". You should send me your Wii number by an eBay message stating the subject as “Wii 500 Free Points” and please please remember to include your correct wii number in the main body of the email or message. Please note it is essential that you contact me to notify me your Wii number or it will be impossible for me to complete the process since I would not know it. I will then complete the process by entering your Wii number in mine, and automatically we both will get 500 free Wii points each to spend through the "Wii Shop Channel".
