Xbox 360 got the E71 error, shud i get it repaired or shud i get a new slim one?

I dont know if theres any fixes to the error that i've not already tried but if u hav any suggestions plzzz... otherwise id like to know how long an xbox 360 lasts after its repaired; is it worth it or shud i just get a new one (250gb most likely)?

Can u find me any deals online for a xbox 360 slim?
