Ok. So a couple of weeks ago I connected my xbox to the Internet and made a silver account. They gave me a month free of gold. I recovered it at my friends house to use for black ops. I can't connect my xbox at home, I can only play offline. However, I don want to gain any achievements before I can recover it at my house, as I will lose the ones I got while I hadn't had my gamertag recovered. If I gave a transfer cable to my friend, and he transferred my live gamertag that is recovered at his house to my hard drive, would this be the same as simply recovering it?
