My Nintendo Wii will connect to wi-fi but my DS wont, why is this?

Well i have my nintenso wii connected up to wifi wirelessly and without a USB connector but i wanna play pokemon online on my DS but it wont connect. it says i need a WEP key but at my house on my router I have a WPA2 key so it wont work. How will I get it to work with wi-fi?
