Hi when i use my XBOX 360 With standard AV Cables, my portable box fan usually cools it down, but when i run with HDMI, the box fan doesnt cool it down, it stays at a higher temp, even if i increase the speed of the box fan, it doesnt help, is it normal for it to be hotter on both the power pack and the console itself when running HDMI?

For some reason my console came with 3 years warranty, not just 1, is that good? (When i registered it online at xbox.com as a "My Product".
