I don't believe Nintendo has an issue with third party developers at all. They get quite a HUNK of cash for allowing them to make Wii games. The problem is with the system itself. The Wii doesn't work on the same scale/grade as PS3 and XBOX360 because of that it would take tremendous amounts of effort on the third parties part to produce a product for the Wii that is comparable to what Nintendo makes because it's virtually the same for PS3 and XBOX360. Simply put it's not worth the effort to the third parties so they do a halfas* job because selling a few games is better than not selling any.
