Sims 3 Console Xbox 360: how do you go back to create-a-sim and make another sim or

family? I just want to know how do you go back and create another sim. And How do you switch households.?

You have to make a new save. The game only allows one playable family per town/save. Sucks and I really don't know why they did it that way.
