I'm buying my self a nintendo wii for christmas this year and a few games. I'm not a hardcore gamer, just a casual one. I'm mostly into the wii fit games and the family board games and things like super mario brothers and the sims type games.

Do I need a separate memory card or does the wii have a built in memory capabilities? What accessories are a must have for this system? What accessories make using games easier and what ones do I have to have for gaming? Thanks!

I have had a Wii for about two years and i have played adn beat the game Super Mario Brothers for the Wii with me and my family. For me the game saved to the console and i have used alot of memory on MY POOR wii for pictures and games< but i haven't had to buy a memory card. But i have had to use it to keep my memory if i have played Game Cube games. Also the website links below show some controllers and accessories that may help for the Wii to handle. Built in memory, and you can buy foam baseball bats, golf clubs, etc., and steering wheels for wii sports and mario cart.
It only comes with 2 wii remotes, so if you are planning on playing in a large group, then you should buy more. You should also buy some nunchuks (i think that that is how it is spelled) as you need one of these for each player on most action games, and the Wii does not come with any.
