The Wii is a good system. The problem is that developers aren't taking full advantage of the Wii's processor. The PS3 has the same issue.

The Wii is capable of a lot, just look at the latest Metroid game. Look at the new DS that will be coming out.

Nintendo will always be around. I remember people saying that Sega would put Nintendo out of business.

I don't think I know anyone who has ever said they disliked anything by Nintendo. I think all the systems are pretty awesome.

Because Sega was there before them. Xbox and ps3 are more hardcore gaming consoles and wii and nintendo overall is made for families. It only has such high sales because on advertisements they show family playing TOGETHER. This makes parents become encouraged to buy them nintendo gaming. Kids hate it because ps3 and xbox are the consoles for the more popular games e.g. COD MW2 and stuff. Metroid is overlooked because of games like Halo, Gears of War, Fallout and Lost Planet

people dont hate it they might say they do but they dont cuz its mostly "kids games" tho everbody enjoys wii is best when you have family/friends over
