How are war games on the PS3 in comparison to the xbox 360?
Do games like call of duty and battle field differ much on the two systems?
im a long time xbox fan, thinking of getting a ps3, tired of my xbox breaking.
WILL I REGRET GETTING A PS3? as far as GAME PLAY is it a lot different or better than the xbox 360?

well i personally think that you will not regret getting a PS3 if you get one..because they dont break down so easy and it doesnt get the red ring thing that the Xbox problem has...but what i really like about PS3 and PSN is the great graphics and activities you can do..idk about the games but i think they dont really matter..idk if what im saying really matters..because there alot of different opinions about the PS3 and the Xbox..but if you get a PS3 you wont regret having it..i own 3 PS3 and i havent regretted buying any one of em..

I bought my PS3 over a year ago and the price has dropped since then but I still think its worth every penny. The PS2 had more games and better RPGs but the PS3 makes up for that with awesome online content. You can either use the free psn online service or you can get the paid membership that offers free content and other perks. Plus heres something the Xbox 360 can't do. The last software update gave me the ablity to play 3D bluerays! you have to have a 3D tv though If you do buy it get the one with the largest hard drive that you can afford. If you are like me you will need every gigabyte you can get.

I think the ps3 is better because it has free internet and it has blu ray. You wont regret getting a ps3 I bought a ps3 last year because I hated playing cod on an xbox

In my opinion, the game play is nearly identical on both systems. I've owned an Xbox 360 since shortly after their release, so my view is probably biased towards them, however I do prefer them. I've played Call of Duty MW2 on my Xbox and my friend's PS3, and the only difference is the quality of the online service and the controller. I very much prefer the Xbox controller, and have found that Microsoft provides excellent servers for hosting games. In this aspect, it is very much 'you get what you pay for,' considering PS3 online is free.

If you're considering shelling out enough money to get a new console, and are tired of your Xbox breaking, I would recommend purchasing one of the 'new' black chrome Xbox 360 consoles. Depending on how much you know about computer hardware, the following may not make much sense to you. The new Xbox is made with 45nm chips which use less power and so produce less heat than the old chips. Nearly all of the Xbox 360s problems came from high heat for extended periods of time to the inside of the console, and these new chips eliminate heat as a problem.

PS3
- Far more reliable
- Better overall specs ( not always shown in gameplay for various reasons )
- Better overall entertainment system because of blueray CD player, built in wifi, and reliability
- FREE internet
- Harder to overheat
- PS3 Move ( makes it like a wii only with more mature games )

XBOX 360

- More games
- Better community ( more dedicated players )
- More ergonomic controller ( easier to use and bigger )


In summary the 360 is better for hardcore gamers but the PS3 is a better overall entertainment system because of blue ray, built in wifi, reliability. While the XBOX is better for hardcore gamers who want the best possible gaming experience. Keep in mind both councils have their own games made just for them ( PS3 - God of war 360 - Gears of war ), while most games are for both councils and will be enjoyed almost equally. I personally choose a PS3 for its reliability.

GET XBOX 360 THEY ARE WAY BETTER! But if u want a blu-ray player and a game console in one, get PS3

Same game play but on different network.. To tell you the truth I get better frames rates per second on the ps3.. You won't regret getting a ps3 its worth every penny.. And all ps3 games are played and blu ray format instead of the cd dvds that xbox 360 does and that means clearer and smoother game play.. Been a ps3 fan boy since the first Playstation 1 came out..

well it really doesnt matter controls are similar but if you are going to be playing online everyday i recommend the ps3 for free online play (even though i love the xbox 360)
