I'm thinking of getting my family a Nintendo WII for Christmas this year and I was just wondering if its worth the money? I mean 200+ tax is a quite of bit of money for me and I will have to put it on layaway at Kmart so does anyone else own a WII and how do you like it? Are there very many problems with the system? Thanks for any info

Oh hecks yeah.Its a quality system especialy if you can connect it to internet.There is a parental control on the wii too so your kids dont see anything innapropriate.It also has a great variety of games where as the 360 has mostly shooters.Plus those other systems mostly have m rated games.Its also much cheaper than other consoles such as the playstation move which costs 400 dollars!(Holy Crap!)Not even the 3DS is going to be so expensive!plus its actually cheaper getting a home console where as for handhelds,everybody will want their own.There are many other cool features about it that I just can fit in this answer.Long live the wii and long live nintendo!

Yes is worth but plizz dont waste your money in lame games go to youtube and watch top 10s top 25s new upcomings cause wii is great but they have like pieces of art in a bunch of awful games so be careful dont bought games just because the coverage look cool or are movies translations those are the worst!! SOMETIMES!

My bud owns a Wii and I absolutely love Super Smash Bros. Every other game I've tried on there sucks though, but it's worth it in my opinion if they like SSB.

Well it's a family system. You'd also have to buy multiple controllers, because it only comes with one.

I mean, if you're a hardcore gamer, you probably won't find it appealing, but it's definitely a great party system.

You should get the new Play Station one or the Xbox one I cant remember which one it is. The Samsung is better. All gaming systems like the Wii are worth it.

Oh, of course no problems. Nintendo systems are 100% reliable. The only problem anyone has with it is that the graphics aren't flashy enough for them. I think the unique control system is worth it. Not to mention, there are more unique games for the Wii.

get it! it's a good system to have especially if you are not like a hardcore gamer but if you are getting it for a family it's perfect it hasn't had many problems and it's pretty durable so i would recommend it! also because of the array of games like wii sports (a family game) to zelda (a good old fashioned rpg) and redsteel! (a one player sword/gun game). so you should definitely get one!
