...xbox 360 slim.? 1.) The new vent really gets hot when playing games installed or not installed in the HDD. ( I was playing for maybe about 5 minutes and it's already hot).
2.) A very load noise coming from the hard disc/dvd when playing not really old games but something like Gears of war1, Prince of Persia and God father. (This happens when the games are not installed in the HDD but i know that this is not normal since other newer titles doesn't make noise when not installed in the HDD). "WHISPER QUIET"- MICROSOFT


FYI: I sold my xbox 360 elite for this new xbox 360 S. Hope Microsoft will not fail me.

1) That is very normal. Every Xbox gets hot by the vent because all the heat is escaping from it.
2) This is not normal. I had an Xbox with the same problem. When I put in Bad Co. 2 it would make a loud noise until I installed the game. I'm not sure why it does that, but if it continues then just call customer support and ask them what's wrong.

well what do you expect? it's an Xbox!
