Can I connect my Nintendo Wii to a regular computer monitor?

I have a non-flatscreen, oldschool monitor from Nokia with a VGA-in. If it is possible to hook it up with the Nintendo Wii, how would i do that?

If VGA-in doesn't work, what do I need to consider when buying a new monitor (not TV) to make sure it works with a Wii?

You may try a VGA to component adapter, I think that will work.

You'd have to purchase a RGB cable inorder to make it work. You should be able to find one in amazon.
