in 2009 i hated my wii it never had a good exclusive or anything third party related going for the console. but recently with games like mario galaxy 2 which i was skeptic about seems to look promising. metroid other M looks cool too and of course the new friggin Zelda game. more games i have a feeling will come out that aren't crappy. does any one think the Wii has a chance of coming back from its slump because i am a nintendo fan and it was painful to be on ym 360 more than the wii because the Xbox actually had GAMES

Im a huge Zelda fan probably one of my favorite video game series and it's probably the only reason I have kept my wii. But to say the wii is gonna make a come back is just ridiculous. The wii can never compete with the 360 or the ps3 for the fact that the online play is just so weak. In today's gaming world its all about multiplayer and everyone wants that amazing online experience and thats were the wii lacks. Not to mention they tried so hard to make the wii family friendly that they forgot about the more adult hardcore gamers. The wii had alot of potential and just like you I was huge a Nintendo fan too but all and all the wii was a let down. I don't see it making me leave my 360 for to long just long enough to beat the new zelda game.

Didn't know it ever "went away". Games like Tiger Woods 2010 are best with the new Wii controller add-on.

To start off I had been a nintendo fan most of my life, since I bought a gameboy sp, then I bought some other stuff and finally the wii, I had it since a few a months after it came out to a few months before today. It was a bit fun, but got boring and my friends list never exceeded 4 friends. When I found out cod 4 was being released for wii the same time cod 6 was for other systems. I gave up and traded for a 360, and omg it is the best expecially if u get live. Now that u know who this answer is coming from I would say the wii is making bit of a comeback, but not enough I feel it is still going to be left in the dirt. Since ps3 is releasing a wii based control+ the systems graphics and the way it works dominates. Also xbox is going to release a wii type of play except without the controllers better known as project natal. So bottom line is the wii is coming out with games while other systems are coming out with great games and new things and the wii will not pull through.

well i agree with everything you said ( i feel the same )

but you have to know that the Wii pretty much sucks... i really hate to say it but Nintendo did something right.. and yet horrible wrong at the same time.

Of course the main games ( zelda, mario, metroid etc ) are gonna be good... only a select games ( red steel 2...uh....oh ya monster hunter tri ) are good that arent from nintendo.

I really hope they do something about this with their next console... of coure im always gonna buy and support Nintendo ( specially for my zelda fix ) but sad reality is my Wii is mostly a paper weight.
