Default My xbox 360 is scratching disks can i get it repaired by microsoft?

My Xbox 360 has been scratching disks for the past 6 months now. It's NOT the huge scratches around the edges that has had huge media coverage they are tiny scratches that appear over short OR long periods of time. I simply just play games that haven't been installed to the harddrive after my xbox has been turned on for a while and it will start to have tiny scratches all over it soon and eventually become unreadable even after cleaning. I know most of you will think of the ones that created controversy. But they are definantly not those type of scratches, much smaller but lots.
My xbox is already out of warranty and i live in AUS. i have had it since aug 2007. i will still have to pay the 99 USD for OOW repair but i just want to know if i can get it fixed.

No it damages them. The discs will eventually become unplayable. I only played gears of war 2 like 5 times and it stopped working as did left 4 dead and halo 3, GH3.

You'll have to be under warranty for Microsoft to fix it for free. If your not still under warranty then you will have to pay for a repair or replacement. My guess it that you will have to get a replacement Xbox

If your under warranty still then you should be able to, otherwise I don't think so.
