why is spinter cell conviction for the xbox 360 not in walmart yet?

it came out today for the xbox 360 but its not in any stores ive been to
the 15th is either for the pc or in the UK.... it says i can get it online and the people at walmart said they havent even gotten a copy yet

and gamestop is like an hour and a half drive, and my dads not willing to drive there

They are probably sold out. Has the game been released yet? They only get a certain amount of copies. I don't know if Walmart has pre-orders, but if they do, that is where all the copies went too.
