I have a Sony PS2 game console that I purchased new over a year ago. Lately, I've noticed that it's starting to stall or "freeze up" during game play. It seems to happen no matter what game I'm playing. There's nothing in the owner's manual about this problem. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and how to resolve it? Thanks!

I know there was a couple of PS2 models that had this problem. Only way to fix it is call Sony and explain the problem. They should send one for free, they did it for me.

1: Check all your cables
2: Make sure there is no dust anywhere in the air vents and make sure yor keep the area dust free.
3: call customer support/warranty
4:take it to where you bought it
sorry for the crappy help there just simple solutions that may make it work.
and by the way if you have the slim ps2 it wont last as long as the original because there arent as many air vent and its all clogged up so stick with original.
