modem/router/xbox 360 help please help!!!!!?

i have a modem and it only has 1 hook up for the internet, I need 2 so i can hook up my xbox 360 online, And also be on the internet at the same time, what is the CHEAPEST thing i can do to accomplish this? can i get a "hub" or do i need a router? please answer in stuff i can understand cause i dont know much at all aboot computers...thank you so much meow

you need a differant router, my dad got one that is an OPEN NAT which you have to have to use xbox lvie correctly, and for only like 70 bucks and it works perfectly, it also has wired and wireless that bto hwork at the same time, ever sence we gt this rotuer ineevr lagged out or had a problem again

buy a router.they have some for cheap out there.but go 2 best buy or cuicit city to get a modem.they have some good ones.i recomend the Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router.its like 39-50 bucks.its compatible with the 360 too.

I would go completely wireless. But that probably wouldnt be the cheapest route...
