360 better games

frankly who gives a shit about graphics if all the games are shit?

360 is best

People may think the xbox 360 is a better console just because the true power of the ps3 hasn't been used yet. People jump to conclusions just because 360 has gears of war and halo. However what happens when those trilogies end? PS3 has a number of games coming out that will blow the 360 away. First one is Killzone 2, that game looks unbelievable and that game is only using 60-70% of the potential of the PS3. Another that is coming out is Socom Confrontation and the online play is going to amazing. And lastly which console won the next generation of DVD's I believe the PS3 did with the sick Blu Ray drives. The 360 may have somewhat of a headstart with the consoles main exclusives already launched, PS3 has a long road ahead of them, and opportunity. Also has anybody here forgot about the stupid RROD problems with the 360's. You have to ship your xbox out like for 2 months, just for it to break months later when you recieve.

im sure many people will say that the 360 is the best since they wont isten to what the ps3 has to offer, but im here to tell you this. i think the ps3 is better because it has the graphics of the games that are out, the gameplay of mgs4, the innovations of little big planet, and the fan based favorites that sony loves to give out like naruto ultimate ninja storm. the 360 is good i suppose but it's only good game is gears of war, because halo was unnecesarily hyped above it's limits. the only thing i would say that the 360 has on the ps3 is the price since they lowered it recently, but if you add together all of the things that the 360 doesnt have that the ps3 has that comes with the ps3(free online, hdmi, blu ray, blu tooth, and just about everything else). if you went out to buy all of that stuff for the 360 then it would cost about $600 in total. the 360 bases all of it's success on it's 2 good selling exclusives(which arent that exclusive since they are both on the pc) as the ps3 constantly comes out with new exclusives that are must buys like resistance2, god of war 3, mgs4, little big panet, ultimate ninja storm, ratchet and clank, motorstorm1-2, uncharted, warhark, the highly anticipated ps home, and at least 12 other must-buy exclusives, and the ps3 managed to do all of this without using more than 50% of it's power. (the 360 has to use more than 95% of it's power to play games like half life 2). the ps3 definately is for any gamer who actually likes video games, where as the 360 is only for people who can't manage to play more than 2 for the rest of their lives. in conclusion, in my opinion, the ps3 is the better of the next gen systems, but it does all have to do with what you like =).

I also have both and if you are just looking soley for a gaming platform the xbox 360 is better no contest. Look at the exclusive titles coming out for both systems, the PS3 has very few quality titles, the XBOX360 has gears of war, fable 2, halo, and I could name 20 more that are either out or coming out. Also, after the inital success of "force unleashed" on all the councils, it is now rumored that xbox360 is going to put the "knights of the old republic 3" into production. That is a rumor though, I dont know if there is any fact to it or not. The PS3 really has very few exclusive titles and the ones they do have are not very good. I also like the game play better on the 360. I have played maddens and college football on both systems and it just plays better on the 360 again this year. Its not as prevelent as it was with last years edition though. Last year it was painfully obvious that the PS3 maddens was very sub par. They have closed the gap this year and as they make more games I am sure that the gap will be non existant, but as of right now, the xbox 360 has better and smoother gameplay. Then if you look at online play, all the things that the xbox360 offers with there online programing just blows the ps3 out of the water. The PS3 is free though, which is probally why it does not offer all the things the 360 does. You can get online for very cheap though with the 360, and I personally would rather have better options and pay a little bit for it then get less for free. Now if you are looking at both the capability to play games and to watch movies and you are into bluray movies and technology, then you have to give the nod to the ps3. If you were to go out and buy a bluray disc player on its own it would cost you as much if not more then a ps3 which can play games and play bluray movies. the xbox360 is obviously not a bluray player. So as far as movie ability goes, the ps3 deffinately gets the edge there.

Additional info--
the stuff about the current xbox360's overheating is just not true. I have spent hours online and never had my new 360 "overheat". I wish people would just stick to the facts and give you correct information instead of trying to force there opinions on you. Now, I preordered an original xbox360 and got it on release day. About 8-12 months ago I did get the 3 red rings. I called microsoft and they sent me a prepaid box. I sent it in and got back a brand new sealed xbox360 in 19 days from the day I sent it in. I have not had a single problem since. Now that microsoft has fixed the 360's red ring problem, it is a reliable system. I have not looked up the official numbers but as far as I have heard the PS3 still has the best reliability numbers though.

whoa whoa whoa dude dude what come on people ps3 has gone all this way to revolutionize and this is what it gets a comparison to not the wii but 360 come on man like answer #1 said ps3 dominates and its worth every cent because it has much to offer its like your own personnel computer 360 it overheats quickly you have to the internet for it plus it not very durable one drop and its f-up so go with ps3 or wii or stick with 360 if you've played x-box because it has great games that all I'll give it.

ps3 cuz if yu buy an xbox its guna get red ring(it wil die) and yull have tu sen dt back for 3 weeks tu get another that wil get red ring in another year unfortunatley i think 360 has better games. bill gates knows how tu own yu.
