All you need is an internet service provider (cable,satellite, etc...) and a wireless router, and a computer

You have to have a broadband internet connection and a router to share the connection with your other devices.

If it's a wireless router, the Wii can connect to it without any other hardware.

If it's a wired router, you'll need to get a USB/LAN adapter that will turn one of the USB ports in the back to an ethernet port that you can then connect to the router via a CAT5 cable.

You can get on with a WiFi USB.
