Since my PS3 isn't recognizing the bluray player, I almost think that My ps3's blu-ray drive has been dead. When a disk is inserted into a drive, the disc is spinning but it doesn't read the disk. I tried the 'hold pwr button down in standby... two beeps...option 3... check for errors thing', and updating the software, and am still getting nothing. Does anyone have an idea of what part of the drive is bad?
