I have an old "HD Ready" phillips crt projection tv. I am interested in connecting my PS3 to it with some sort of HD connection.
I bought a basic PS3 Component Video cable, but when i hook it up, the picture is just extremely jittery grey lines (although sometimes you can see a little bit of what is trying to be the image that should be displayed).
the connections for hd on the tv are:
y, pb, cr, h-sync, v-sync
Is this component or y,pb,cr, or RGBHV, or what?
there is also a VGA input, but when I hook up the ps3 via that i get the same effect.
The TV does not have hdmi.
Can anyone help me figure out how to connect the ps3 to this tv?
