broken ps3 controller?

I was dropped my ps3 controller and now the d pad is unresponsive. If i open the casing is there a way to fix this? When i shake it i hear something rumbling inside. Thanks

that sux- i do that like 2 times a year- buy a new one for now and ask for controllers 4 x-mas

i get 2 for x-mas and that usually lasts me throughout the year

yea just open it see if some thing is out of place or disconnected its not a special screw driver to open it so your good
