Why do I have faint lines on my TV screen when I plug my Turtle Beach P21...

...usb into my PS3? I just got it for Christmas, and it works perfectly, but theirs these annoying faint lines moving on the screen when the power is on to the headset. The power runs off a usb connection to the PS3. When I unplug the usb thus killing the power to the headset, the lines go away. Any idea guys? Thanks.
