anyplace that sells or repairs computers , bestbuy , staples , even wal-mart has a ps3 hdd replacement kit ( but it's only 160 gig - enough for most people )
just ask for a 2 1/2 inch 5400rpm sata laptop drive
for 250 gig size you're looking at about 0-0

best brands are seagate or western digital

Your best option is to go to best buy. They have lots of 2.5 SATA Hard Drives, I saw one that was 500GB and cost like $120, that's a deal!
