I need help with my PS3 Blu-ray Drive + Hard drive?
Hi all,
I got an email from someone asking me this:
the blueray drive has a registery key thats matched to the motherboard and drive and if you replace the drive the firmware in the system will not let the drive spool up or play a disk because the key is not matched i though i would be getting this kind of info for fixing my problem because i think my firmware is corrupted or something of that nature.some repair shops have access to this procedure to replace drives and they just rip the key from old and then dump it back into the new working one.or else it will just eject disks all day long but never read anything.the firmware thats embedded in motherboard controls this function of the drive.
How do I fix this? Is there a video/guide on the internet for this?
Thanks!
