Can I backup my PS3 hard drive without another external hard drive?

But really, the extra space would come in handy...
Can I just remove my current hard drive and replace it with one with more storage space, then restore the data of my first hard drive to the upgraded hard drive? I was thinking maybe if I put a shell around the first hard drive I could use that instead of having to buy an external hard drive to back up the data. Is it possible?

Data Backup is the best means to restore data in cost effective way. Files back up means creating alternative copies of actual data so that you may restore your crucial files and folders again if it is lost due to any reason. Also it requires less human power, fewer mouse clicks and very less time to restore data back in original condition.
