My, ps3 isn't reading my usb stick, any help?

i was expecting the usb stick to show up in the saved data folder at the ps3 home menu as i would like to copy something from the usb stick, the usb device didn't show up though. by the way it is formatted to FAT32. Any help? thanks

you might have to create folders on it - PS3 > SAVEDATA
does it show up if you want to copy music or a photo ? if not then go to system setting and format it using the ps3
