Why when i start my ps3 my controller assign 1 & 2 simultaneous?

i can turn on the ps3 with my controller, but it doesn't work on the ps3 screen
the light for the controller assign is on 1 and 2

can somebody help me to fix the problem?

I don't think you would have to get a new PS3 considering as there is No PS3 version of the red ring >.>

I suppose you could try to 'UN-pair' the controller from the PS3 and and try to pair it again. Or, I'm not sure if you tried this but attempt to use a completely different controller? it might just be the controller itself and not the PS3

u have to get a new ps3 its the ps3 version of the red ring of death
