My ps3 controllers are fully charged but they won't work unless they are plugged in. i can turn on my ps3 with them but i cant use them in the menu or in a game, the 4 lights on top just keep flashing. but they will work if i have them plugged in.. WHAT IS GOING ON!!! i hate always using the cord!!! please help..

maybe the home bottom is broken cause if u don't press the home bottom it wont work when u unplug it cause u have to put it as player 1or 2 so on. try fixing the control hope that this help u

yeah i had this problem too until i decided to reset the controller by usnig a pin needle and pressing the little hole behind the PS3 controller. after that resync and when you turn on the PS3 make sure the controller is really close to the PS3 and you should not have any problems.

sounds like you said have two controllers just try with one and set it to controller 1 by holding down ps3 hme button and selecting controller settings- controller 1, then unplug it and c if it works
